While selecting the Datastore for a particular host, i receive below error,<\/p>\n<p><strong>com.vmware.sps.fault.qsconnectionException<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>which is automatically related to other set of errors, shown below (that have appeared immediately after resolution).<\/p>\n<p><strong>cannot initiate storage service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 pbm.fault.PBMFault.summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned in VMWARE Knowledge base link, <a href=\"https:\/\/kb.vmware.com\/selfservice\/microsites\/search.do?language=en_US&amp;cmd=displayKC&amp;externalId=2064174\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/kb.vmware.com\/selfservice\/microsites\/search.do?language=en_US&amp;cmd=displayKC&amp;externalId=2064174<\/a> follow the process mentioned and it should resolve the error and you should be able to select or view the Data store.<\/p>\n<p>1. Ensure that the VMware Inventory service and the VMware profile Driven Storage Service are running. If the services are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>not running<\/strong><\/span> or in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>stopped state<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>start<\/strong><\/span> both of them.<\/p>\n<p>2. If VMware Inventory service and the VMware profile Driven Storage Service are running, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>restart the services<\/strong><\/span>. This should resolve the issue. Log in to the vCenter Server Appliance using URL,\u00a0 http:\/\/IP\/hostname_of_VC:5480<br \/>\n2. Click the Summary tab under vCenter Server.<br \/>\n3. Click Stop next to vCenter Server.<br \/>\n4.
