No server has been selected message

Servers not getting assigned during deployment in WAS. After completing a deployment, I was planning to change the Server scope of the deployed application. To my surprise it was not at all changing the scope and giving a message in console as,

“No server has been selected”

This occurs on Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11 when you are on WAS v8.0.0.0

As mentioned in Fixcentral link, http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PI13887 there is a open defect that is causing the issue on microsoft internet explorer browser 11 only.

Though a fix is provided, but this works good on other set of browsers (Chrome and Mozilla). I can change the scope of servers from other browsers.
